The Epics of Food

I liked this storybook because it told the stories of how the Gods favored certain foods and I thought that was interesting. The introduction in the title screen did a good job of grabbing my attention because it went right into a few short stories that were fun to read, and made me want to explore the rest of the site. I think that the story behind these foods gives that food a greater importance, and may make us appreciate it more. It's also interesting to learn cultural history.

Looney Tunes goes to India

I loved this storybook. I found it really interesting the way they added the familiarity of Looney Tunes into Indian culture. It made the stories more enjoyable for me and sparked my interest. The layout of the storybook had a comfortable feel with all of the cartoons. I feel like it made the stories more approachable for someone who doesn't read Indian epics very often.

The Brahmazing Race

I liked this storybook because it mixed cultural information in with a game and made it fun to read about. They made the race a competition where these two teams had to go to different areas in India and gather information about the landmarks and history there. And each team was a god or mythical figure of India that had a rivalry against the other team, I also found that interesting. I liked the layout of this storybook. Unlike my other two favorites, it had a black background which looked cool but also gave the story an edgier feel. For example when I was reading about the demon king and I was looking at the black page with the blue lightening it seemed more intense than just reading black font on a white page. I also thought the structure was nice and I liked the way the person referred to himself as Brahma, the creator of all things.
